The Cats Mug is a part of Brick House Design's ceramics collection based on the designs of Tirzah Garwood. The Design is a detail taken from a woodcut created by Tirzah in 1929 called "Brick House Kitchen". An image pf that woodcut can be seen alongside the product pictures.
Brick House design were asked to create the collection to go alongside the first solo exhibition of Tirzah Garwood's art at Dulwich Picture Gallery in London. We have created special versions of those designs that are available here. The unique Brick House Design version feature a hand painted gold rim and a printed credit to Tirzah Garwood inside the mug rim.
Tirzah Garwood was married to Eric Ravilious and they lived with Edward Bawden and his wife in Brick House in Great Bardfield , Suffolk.
The collection is all made by hand in Stoke on Trent, UK. Where we are delighted to be working with Duchess China 1888, who
have been manufacturing ranges of Fine Bone China products in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The Heart of the Worlds ceramic industry.

Brick House Design prints are available on Velvet, Cotton and Linen.
Cotton is 100% Cotton, Linen is 80% Viscose, 20% Linen, and Velvet is 88% Cotton, 12 % Polyester.

Brick House Design wallpapers come as standard in 10 meter rolls 52 cm wide, alternative widths are available as special orders if required.
Brick House Design Fabrics are sold by the meter and are 140 cm wide.
